We are excited to announce that the Demo Day of our LVLUP Accelerator – the first video games industry accelerator in Cyprus – will take place on May 31, 2024, as part of GDCy FEST 2024 in Limassol!
The program is organised by NVO Lab, GDCy, and supported by Google for Startups. Partners include GEM Capital, The Games Fund, Green Grey, Steam Power and REVERA.
Supported by our partners, we have created a unique program and for more than 80 applications for participation.
From these, we selected 18 of the most promising teams to participate in the accelerator.
During 2,5 months of the program, we provided participants with valuable knowledge and experience, connecting them with industry experts, investors, and publishers.
As a result, 11 finalists will present their games and startups during Demo Day.

🎶 Hello GDCy People! 🎶
We’re thrilled to wrap up our lineup reveal with two very special guests for GDCy FEST 2024.
First up, we have the incredible Grim Black Shadows! 🎵
Born out of the COVID lockdown, Grim Black Shadows began as a fun project among experienced musicians. What started as a casual collaboration quickly evolved into a powerful pop-up band. Now, after a couple of years in soft launch, Grim Black Shadows is ready to storm Cyprus with their mix of industrial rock, grunge, and synth-pop. Get ready for a set that’s both heavy and irresistibly danceable.
Aside from all that flavour, the band’s frontman Peter Salnikov, who you may know as the co-founder of Disgusting Men project and co-host for The House of The Dev podcast with Raphael Colantonio, founded Book Burner Games studio recently. His team is working on an RPG about… an outlaw band on tour though a dystopian world where music is prohibited.

I’m working on the inviocean.com project. This is a new project for people who see poorly or do not see at all. We have a very large section dedicated to games and their adaptation for the blind and visually impaired.

Raised by the soundtracks of cult games like the NFS series, Tony Hawk, Flatout, Prince of Persia, etc., The Holidays represent the classic vibe of those times fueled by good old alternative music (Linkin Park, Blink182, SUM41, Good Charlotte, Gorillaz, My Chemical Romance, Blur, Limp Bizkit, and many others...).
In just few months since forming, the band has become well-known in Cyprus and now headlines big festivals and performs on the radio.
You'll need a fire brigade because they play each of our gigs as the last one 🤘🏽
