How I studied:
- Learned the alphabet by myself
- Learned how to read and write
- Learned a subset of basic words — I don’t know, maybe 300 or more (duolingo, drops, memrise - any app like that could help)
- Hired a teacher to continue with grammar and other stuff (lessons twice a week)
- In parallel, I was reading newspapers and books, listening to music, and exploring Greek memes and films
it took me approximately 1.3 years to reach B1 and around 2.5 years to reach something nearing B2.
