Hi, I’m coming to the island from time to time, so would like to raise the question - In few times I visited Ayia Napa I noticed nice wind, even when other parts of the island are stale. However I did not see any mention to kite activity. The above taken today in Protaras. I hope you can see both flags on the tower and in the island inside. Why isn’t kitesurfing in that area?

Not comfortable start, usually its touristic area.

Perhaps it was summertime, the tourist season. And kiting is prohibited on public beaches.

Also, it's far away from main cities. There are not so many winter kiters on the island, and they usually go to the best spots near Limassol and Larnaca. But sometimes people go to Protaras for strong east wind forecasts.
