As I mentioned before — which you seem to have missed — the kite is less than a year old, so I don't consider it old. I did not apply any force to the valve; it didn’t even last through the warranty period.
And as you wrote — "replaced enough valves to know that" — maybe it's worth informing the manufacturer that they have a weak component in the kite that can’t even last a year.
Also, I mean no offense to anyone — this is just an example of customer service. I reached out with a problem, and without any real investigation, I was simply told: pay for it.
