Well it looks to me we do it the wrong way in summer time at Patamali & Avdimou. Usually the bar is close to the water line and the kite is closer to the trees while launching. It should be the other way round.

To be honest sometimes is good to land like that, sometimes not. Only because the downwind area , especially on weekends, is not clear. But yes, for the riders safety is better this way, if the downwind area is also clean is 👌

Nice for Avidimou to have such a way to launch. At Kahuna almost always we have only chance to launch staying in the water with stones and water downwind
