Another question, our relocation wasn't planned due to the war, so we're applying for the visitor pink slip just because it’s easier. I do plan to look for a job here or any remote job (shouldn't be a problem), but right now I can't prove monthly income, although obviously we have some savings and part-time projects. Are immigration officers picky about your money sources (nothing shady, though) and should I tell them I'm looking for a job here or not? I can also advocate serious plans to build our lives here - like future school trips that have been booked and paid - but I wonder if it helps us out.

Yes we do have the 💰, just not the regular cash flow as one would expect in a normal situation

at the initial document submission you can put 10k to the bank (although bank may reject to take 10k in cash), but on renewal you have to show 24k (+ family) income
