Has nothing to do with ladies

I've herd another version - due to the fact that port and Acrotiry military base near by a lot of Ladies came there and waited for they beloved ones on the shore, so due to that fact locals sterted call this mile of shore - Ladies Mile. Between Horses and Ladies I would rather vote for Ladies 🙂
