Job Title: Billing Support Manager
The Billing Support Manager is responsible for managing the billing support functions for our mobile and web applications in a B2C environment. This role involves responding to user requests, processing subscription cancellations and refunds, handling payment disputes, and collaborating with the product team to improve user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience with CRM and support tools, automation skills, and a strong focus on customer empathy and efficiency.
📆Key Responsibilities:
☑️User Support and Engagement:
- Respond to user requests with empathy and a customer-centric approach.
- Process subscription cancellations and refunds promptly and accurately.
- Handle payment disputes, providing payment service providers (PSPs) with evidence to resolve and win disputes.
☑️Operational Efficiency:
- Utilize CRM and support tools like Zendesk to manage and track user interactions.
- Automate routine and repetitive tasks, including setting up templates and macros for auto-replies.
- Measure and analyze the efficiency of support responses and overall customer satisfaction.
☑️Performance Management:
- Establish and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and report on the performance of the billing support team against these metrics.
- Implement strategies to continually improve support efficiency and user satisfaction.
☑️Collaboration and Insights:
- Work closely with the product team to share insights and feedback from user interactions.
- Contribute to product improvements based on user feedback and support experiences.
- Stay updated on chargeback prevention services and implement best practices to reduce disputes.
☑️Technical Proficiency:
- Leverage experience with mobile apps, web apps, and B2C environments to enhance user support.
- Maintain familiarity with chargeback prevention services and integrate them into support processes.
- Ensure the use of effective tools and technologies to streamline support operations.
Qualifications:
🧑🏫Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Customer Support, or a related field.
📇Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing support, customer support, or a related role.
- Proven experience with CRM and support tools like Zendesk.
- Familiarity with mobile apps and web apps in a B2C context.
💪🏻Skills:
- Strong ability to empathize with users and a commitment to helping them.
- Proficiency in automating support routines and setting up templates/macros.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (level B2 or higher).
- Ability to work independently and meet KPIs and SLAs.
- Knowledge of chargeback prevention services and strategies.
