Your role at Exness:
As a key part of our Technology team, you will work on various products and projects to create and deliver the best possible experience for our traders. You will write and test code, help review and run it, and perform app monitoring and health checks. - Implement application monitoring processes, log-ins, and health-checks.
What makes you a great fit:
- 3 or more years of experience in development and administration of IT systems
- Python or Golang experience
- Experience with containerization solutions and any container orchestration system, ideally with hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Expertise with build automation and continuous delivery tools
- Good understanding of quality control and test automation in agile-based, continuous integration environments

In order to strengthen our core development team, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer.

🔥Position in Limassol, Cyprus (we help with relocation).

What we will be expecting from you:
🔸extensive experience in backend development in Kotlin + MongoDB + Spring Framework;
🔸love to write clean code, use the DDD approach, and follow SOLID principles;
🔸sense of humor 🙂

What will you do:
🔸organizing of uninterrupted distribution of individual push notifications to users, tens of thousands per second (scaling of sending, distributed caches);
🔸implementing complex product experiments: on-the-fly image processing, feeds formation process;
🔸ensuring the stability and fault tolerance of the entire backend (this includes service mesh integration: client-side request balancing, service discovery, circuit breaker, end-to-end tracing, and graceful degradation);
🔸optimization of work with databases and queues.

Tech stack we use:
🔸Kotlin + Spring + a bit of Ktor; PHP + Symfony + Doctrine MongoDB ODM;
🔸DB: MongoDB, Redis, Clickhouse, Elasticsearch, Memcached, Kafka;

Job duties:
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions considering various aspects such as extensibility, scalability, performance, security, design patterns;
• Support and improvement of current technical solutions for the project;
• Interact with the product team to implement tasks in accordance with the product Roadmap;
• Lead the product technical team by implementing and enforcing best development practices;
• Set and monitor the achievement of technical goals for developers;
• Ensure timely fulfillment of team commitments;

Background:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, such as a master's degree in digital business or an MBA, is highly valued.
• Experience in a senior technology leadership role with experience of managing technology teams in a scale-up/medium sized business, ideally focused on building SaaS solutions iGaming turn key solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure and Data architecture
• Deep understanding of the latest AI and ML technologies and be able to translate them into business value.
• Experience building APIs to integrate with other products or services.
