From May 14, 2024, the registration or re-registration of a used motorcycle will only take place after a successful technical inspection and presentation of the appropriate certificate. As part of ensuring road safety, all registered motorcycles will be called for a technical inspection. The owners of the registered motorcycles will be informed of the time within which they will carry out a technical inspection of their vehicle by sending a text message (sms) and, therefore, they are invited to update their contact details through the registration in the online services of the Roads Department Transportation.
