We hope this message finds you well. We would like to bring to your attention some important safety points raised recently by the Cyprus Port Authorities, Marine Police and Limassol Marina to ensure the safety and compliance of our activities.
Restricted Areas: Please refrain from using the port entrance or channel area for training or recreational purposes. These areas are off-limits due to heavy traffic and associated risks.
Communication: It is crucial to maintain communication with the Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) and monitor the designated channels (9, 12, and 16) when sailing in or near the Marina. This ensures we can respond promptly to any instructions or warnings.
Qualified Operators: Only qualified individuals should handle vessels within the Marina basin. This is especially important for the safety of all members and other Marina users.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in adhering to these guidelines. Your attention to these matters helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
