Вітання усім! А хто бачив, вчора, перед заходом сонця, хвилі в районі Пафосу? Це були припливні хвилі, чи якійсь особливі? Дуже потужні, глибинні і з фронтом на все узбережжя.

А який період був приблизно? В нас на Акротірі вчора зранку було 8 секунд, при повній відсутності вітру. Не те щоб щось сильно екстраординарне, але для людей далеких від серф туси може бути не звично. Sorry guys, if any difficulties understanding.

Maybe it would be interested to non UA. ✌️As I remember there was 3-4 min period between wave “session”. All sessions contain maybe 10 waves with increasing height. Some of the waves was, maybe, 2-3 meters height. I was so wondering to see it with sunset and forget to do some video.

Sounds like ordinary swell. But 2-3 meters is really high if you don't exaggerate. Next time pls make a video) To be more precise - you can try to count the number of seconds between 2 biggest waves in the set. That is called period and will give you the correlation with the wave height. From the photo it does not look big at all. Moreover the sea looks choppy (some wind chop in addition to the swell you describe). Anyway - always fun to explore sea or ocean behavior :)
