General Requirements for Applicants
Residency: Applicants must prove they have been legal residents in Cyprus for at least six months before applying for a learner's license and taking the exams.
Age: The minimum age to apply for the theory exam is 17.5 years. The minimum age for the practical test and a full license is 18 years for a Category B (car) license.
