Подкормка бездомных кошек на Кипре становится одним из самых спорных вопросов в сфере защиты животных: полиция не расследует жалобы, когда кто-то уничтожает места кормления.

Добрый день ! Подскажите, пожалуйста, если кто-то знает. Я буду лететь с собакой в Латвию , перед перелетом беру здесь справку из клиники , что он здоров. Через несколько дней пребывания в Латвии, мы летим в Данию. Нужна ли ему опять справка из латвийской клиники перед перелетом ? То есть нужна ли новая справка каждый раз, если несколько перелетов в коротком промежутке ? Спасибо !

Dear Marios and every single person who is helping in this group

First of all THANK YOU ALL for your help, understanding and cooperation!

Here is a quick update from the team of Cyprus Animals group and other well known volunteers working hard these days in all the affected areas

Souni - there is more than enough help and pet food here — over 100 kg of dry food. Water and food bowls are placed and being refilled properly by lithe residents and volunteers 
Please DO NOT go to Souni, not even just to look around — it only causes stress for returning animals and residents. 

Currently in urgent need of help:

Vouni – Rula, or the Thai girl near the tavern 
(It’s better to help Rula via the support group instead of going to Vouni in large groups! The mukhtar is against it!)

Lofou – picnic area – hungry cats!!! They are wild and may not be visible right away, but food and water are very much needed there!

Some useful recommendations:  
Best time to go and feed the cats and dogs: between 7–8 PM 

Please only give wet food to animals that come out to you and clean after you feed them. Do not leave lots of wet food as it’s getting spoiled in such a heat very quickly and cats will not eat it

If there’s already plenty of dry food at a spot — just refill the water. Do not add more dry food

You can bring/pick up food for the cats and dogs in Limassol to Lida @l_nkk. You can also bring all sorts of things for the cats - large bowls for water, for example

Or give everything to other collection points, in other villages 
Souni - Better to Proseco bar, but they are not in need of any pet food now. 
In Vouni - only to the hands of volunteers, not to the collection point!

Take clear photos of all the cats you see. If there are no photos of missing animals — ask the owners/care takers to describe a pet in details (color, long or short hair, special marks, health issues etc)

Если кто в суни едет

Друзья, у меня лежит 140 кг хорошего сухого кошачьего корма, собранного для погорельцев в Пафосе! Вчера мне сказали везде, что негде хранить и лучше не привозить сейчас в Лимассол. Но если есть необходимость, то давайте я привезу либо сегодня поздно вечером, либо завтра с утра. Свяжитесь со мной, если вы точно знаете куда он нужен🙏🏻

Мелкие явно голодные были, накинулись на еду. А мисок не было даже с водой нигде рядом :(

Он все повторял, мол, finish-finish

Странно, что выкинули, местные арабы сказали, что кормят их, может они переставили в другое место, кто будет там спросите, они слева, там какой то курятник

Все за угол контейнера перетащу сейчас, и под сам контейнер

Лучше их ставить не на видное место, получается

Блин, может воду тоже тогда запрятать…

Котята у Robert’s Dog Sanctuary — оставила большую канистру с водой, но миска для воды у меня была только 1 Если кто еще поедет вечером/завтра, захватите мисочки для воды ❤️ Миска с влажным кормом — прямо под контейнером, котята прячутся все там
