Tech stack:

We’re expanding both of the product teams and are looking for experienced PHP Backend developers to join us.

Your tasks will include:
-Designing and creating the product architecture;
-Back-end development;
-Analysis of business requirements and design of their implementation based on existing and new systems;
-Modification, implementation and creation of custom modules, components and themes;
-Integration with external services (Payment systems, Salesforce, GDS services, etc.);
-Conducting code reviews;
-Work with version control systems;
-Work in Jira, Confluence.

Candidate requirements:
-5+ years of backend development experience;
-Strong communication skills and English language;
-Strong knowledge of PHP (>7.0), code refactoring, coding standards;
-Experience with at least one of the popular PHP frameworks;
-Knowledge and practical application of OOP principles;
-Understanding how web servers work, working in Nginx + php-fpm bundles;
-Ability to work with the Linux console;
-Experience with version control systems (Git).

We are the team behind conferences like React Summit Amsterdam, React Summit US, JSNation, React Advanced London etc.

☄️What operational activities you will have to do:

- Collaboration with the team across departments and event's project manager;
- Search and work with different contractors: venues, catering, furniture companies, etc;
- Booking and coordinating AV companies;
- Managing pre- and after-parties program: artists, fun activities, etc
- Booking, managing and briefing photographers and videographers;
- Preparation of attendee guides
- Work with designers and production companies, preparing tasks;
- Work with motion graphics designers;
- Onboarding volunteers and managing them during the events
- Communication with attendees and support
- Hotel booking, Website content updates.

☄️Expected Hard & Soft Skills:

- Proven experience in event management (corporate or agency setting, educational events, etc);
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners;
- Proficiency in project management tools and software;
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality event experiences;
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a solutions-oriented mindset;
- Ability to communicate quickly via email and online messenger apps;
- Proactive approach to assignments;
- High self-organization level.
