The product is a patient engagement platform that assists healthcare organizations in communicating about upcoming and past appointments, enabling digital check-ins, facilitating online bill payments, and more. Currently, we serve 400 medical groups in the USA & about 100 000 patients use our solution daily. We have recently raised $5M, and our turnover shows 3x growth every year.

At the moment we are looking for strong professionals for the position of Senior Backend Engineer (also can be called Staff or Lead or Principal - it all depends on the person’s experience)

Job requirements

Significant professional experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery.

At least basic algorithms and data structure knowledge.

Understanding of race conditions and how to mitigate them by crafting concurrent code. 

Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.

Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.

Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems, including SQL.

Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.

Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term.

Positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates.

An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility.

Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.

Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.

Ability to use GitLab.

Necessity to come to Yerevan for 2 weeks for onboarding (relocation is not required).
