Liquidnet is seeking an exceptional Java Developer to join the Internal Tools team. This role is directly involved in Liquidnet’s fast-growing electronic trading businesses and will work as part of a dynamic, agile technology team performing analysis, design, and implementation of our internal Execution Management System.

Responsibilities

- Design and build features on our trading platform.
- Write unit tests and end to end tests.
- Collaborate in an agile process with business analysts and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the entire team on continuously improving our processes.

Qualifications / Skills

Required

- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant Java programming experience.
- Strong object-oriented design and methodology.
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Motivated self-starter; strong “take-charge” attitude.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred

- Experience with Equities trading.
- Knowledge of Spring.
- Knowledge of C#/.Net.
