Вот вам позиция кипрских авиалиний: Our passengers booked on flight CY 486 from Larnaka to Moscow on 19 November 2020, could not board on the flight, due to Russian Authorities’ last-minute prohibition to carry the passengers who were all Russian citizens to Moscow. Although Cyprus Airways requested immediately clarifications from the competent authorities, we are still to receive a concrete reply, justifying the action.  This caused inconvenience to the forty Russian citizens who were planning to return to Russia. We completely understand and sympathize with them, but this unforeseen event was beyond our control. We will do our best to assist them with the travel arrangements. All passengers received an official email from the company explaining the reason of the cancellation and providing the options for a full refund of the amount paid for the tickets.  We will inform them as soon as we receive an answer from relevant authorities, hoping that this will help them with their travel plans for the return to Russia. We assure you that we are doing everything possible to solve and clarify the matter with the Russian and Cyprus Authorities, in order to avoid such unpleasant situations in the future. As soon as we clarify the matter, we will officially announce reopening of sales for our flights to Moscow, at the current stage flights from Moscow to Larnaka are still available on our website.
